While it is our goal to provide accurate information, our provider network is subject to change without notice. Providers in all areas of our service region are included in the provider search. Coventry Health Care National Network for Urgent or Emergency Care
Coventry Health Care National Network providers are available when you need urgent or emergency care outside the service area.

Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse Services Providers
Beginning January 1, 2010, MHNet will manage behavioral health services for all Coventry Health Care of Virginia, Inc. members. MHNet will arrange all inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse services -- you don't need a primary care provider's referral. Call 1-800-975-8919.
Important things to remember about Mental Health Network:
- You must call Mental Health Network, Inc. at 1-800-975-8919 to receive a referral for any inpatient or outpatient behavioral health services. Staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you.
- Treatment must be coordinated through Mental Health Network. Should you seek behavioral health services without obtaining a referral and your provider not obtaining authorization, those services will not be covered and payment will be denied.
- If you are currently receiving mental health or substance abuse care, please call Mental Health Network to activate your benefits. The staff will assist you in accessing a Mental Health Network provider.
- If you have a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency care center. Contact Mental Health Network or have the provider at the emergency care center contact Mental Health Network as soon as reasonably possible.
